It might surprise you to learn that it is estimated that almost one in ten of the UK population is dyslexic. Furthermore, it is now recognised that many children with the condition ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) are also dyslexic. There are also similarities between the symptoms of dyslexia and autism, although the conclusion thaht autism and dyslexia are linked - is a tenuous one.

However dyslexia need not be the crisis in your child's education that many people imagine it to be.
